Pre-pay Azenta Life Sciences for antibody production.
Azenta Life Sciences will produce the antibodies using the sequences provided at a reduced fee of $120 per antibody.

Complete the challenge(s).
Datasets for each challenge will be distributed on January 23, with participants having a period of 14 days to upload their sequence data.

When does it start?

Why a competition?
AI is certainly a disruptive innovation in many areas of life sciences. The role of AI in antibody discovery is widely touted but has yet to be proven. By collating key antibody scientists and informaticists, we aim to better understand the landscape and help expedite the development and evolution of applied AI.

Azenta Life Sciences will produce the antibodies using the sequences provided. Once you have registered to participate, you will receive a confirmation email with a unique ID. The next step is create an account with Azenta’s GENEWIZ to pre-pay for your submissions (at a reduced fee of $120 per antibody).
- After logging into your account, please complete the profile as follows:
- Hover your mouse over your name in the upper right to reveal the drop-down menu
- Click on “Profile” and complete required, red asterisked fields.
- Click “Update form” at the bottom and you’re ready to go.
Step 2: Create and Save a Draft Order
- After creating your account, log in to GENEWIZ.
- Under the ‘Place an Order’ tab, choose Gene Synthesis.
- Choose Recombinant Antibody Production – Gene to Antibody.
- For ‘order name,’ use the unique ID that you received by email when you registered at AIntibody.org.
- For ‘promotion code,’ enter AIntibody.
- For BOTH ‘# of sequences’ and ‘# of antibodies’ enter a value of 1 and click the green ‘apply’ button for each.
- Click ‘save as draft.’
- At the bottom of the main page, under the ‘my orders’ tab, you should see your draft order.
- Using your unique AIntibody ID and the promotional code will notify the team at Azenta.
- The Azenta team will create a quote for your planned submissions.
Step 3: Confirm the Quote & Provide Payment
- Once you receive email notification of your quote, please log in to you GENEWIZ account.
- The draft order you created will now show “review quote” under the ‘Action’ tab.
- Review your quote and click “add to cart.”
- Add your payment information and click “check out” to complete payment for the synthesis and expression.

Data sets for the challenge(s) will be sent by email on January 23. Upload your sequences by February 6.

Carterra will evaluate all submission for antibody affinities by surface plasmon resonance (SPR), and Sapidyne will test the highest affinity antibodies by KinExA.
Mosaic Biosciences will assess the developability (HIC HPLC, BVP ELISA, AC-SINS, DLS, Tm and Tagg).

Each participant will receive their individual assessment. Participants will be invited to be co-authors on published results papers.
